When you study at Business Academy Aarhus, you must encounter and contribute to a study environment where everyone is in a good and safe environment. The basis for a good study environment is that we respect each other and have a respectful tone. This applies to everyone who works and studies at Business Academy Aarhus.

At Business Academy Aarhus, we do not tolerate offensive behaviour such as sexual harassment, bullying or degradation. This can either suffered by you personally, or that you witness abusive behaviour among fellow students or employees. We refer to the Work Environment in Denmark's definition of offensive act.

If you experience situations involving abusive behaviour such as sexual harassment, bullying and degradation, you have several different courses of action.

As a student, you can contact the programme management of your degree programme, the student counsellors, or the Head of Quality and Student Life

Code of conduct

Business Academy Aarhus has compiled a number of rules of conduct for students, which among other things describes students' required behaviour. There are a number of possible sanctions if you violate the rules of conduct

Business Academy Aarhus - together with Student Counselling (SRG) - provides the digital course StudylifePLUS for all our students.

The course is for you if you experience difficulties with concentration and memory, have fluctuating energy and motivation levels, or have problems with social and academic communities.

With the course, you can develop effective coping strategies that enhance your learning and well-being, even when encountering challenging situations along the way.

The point of career guidance is to facilitate the transition from student to employee.

Career guidance is an offer to students who are interested in increasing their awareness of their qualifications – at academic, social and personal levels. Career guidance can help you get a better idea of what motivates you and what you are good at.

At the same time, career guidance can help you get a better idea of your career opportunities after completing your theoretical training – and provide knowledge of the demands and opportunities that apply in different areas of industry.

We offer individual career guidance. This should be seen as a supplement to the awareness you achieve through your tuition in general, and through your internship where you test your qualifications in a real-life setting.

If you are not a Danish citizen, you have to meet certain requirements in order to be able to receive SU.

You must apply for SU on su.dk

The processing time is normally 2 months - but can be longer in certain busy times.

If you receive SU, you can get a discount (called: Ungdomskort) on your daily transport between your place of residence and Business Academy Aarhus.

You can apply for an ‘ungdomskort’ at ungdomskort.dk with your MitID.

You can apply for SU and public transport discount from 10 August.

If you apply earlier, your application will be delayed due to technical reasons.

If you continue directly from an AP degree to a top-up degree, you can receive SU for July and August. The earliest you can apply for SU and public transport discount is 13 July and the latest by 31 July, so that you can receive SU for July and August. If you apply earlier, your application will be delayed due to technical reasons and if you apply later, you will not receive any SU for July.

If you have had a break between your two programmes, you can apply for SU and public transport discount from 10 August if you apply earlier, your application will be delayed due to technical reasons.
