When you study at Business Academy Aarhus, you must encounter and contribute to a study environment where everyone is in a good and safe environment. The basis for a good study environment is that we respect each other and have a respectful tone. This applies to everyone who works and studies at Business Academy Aarhus.

At Business Academy Aarhus, we do not tolerate offensive behaviour such as sexual harassment, bullying or degradation. This can either suffered by you personally, or that you witness abusive behaviour among fellow students or employees. We refer to the Work Environment in Denmark's definition of offensive act.

If you experience situations involving abusive behaviour such as sexual harassment, bullying and degradation, you have several different courses of action.

Code of conduct

Business Academy Aarhus has compiled a number of rules of conduct for students, which among other things describes students' required behaviour. There are a number of possible sanctions if you violate the rules of conduct

The point of career guidance is to facilitate the transition from student to employee.

Career guidance is an offer to students who are interested in increasing their awareness of their qualifications – at academic, social and personal levels. Career guidance can help you get a better idea of what motivates you and what you are good at.

At the same time, career guidance can help you get a better idea of your career opportunities after completing your theoretical training – and provide knowledge of the demands and opportunities that apply in different areas of industry.

The Career Centre offers individual career guidance. This should be seen as a supplement to the awareness you achieve through your tuition in general, and through your internship where you test your qualifications in a real-life setting.

If you are not a Danish citizen, you have to meet certain requirements in order to be able to receive SU.

Application process

You can apply for SU from 10 August (study starts in August) or 10 January (study starts in January).

Fill in the application form online at su.dk 

When you have filled out the application form, you have to print the receipt. On the receipt there is also a link to a form that you need to print out and fill in as well.

When you have filled in the form, bring your application and documentation to the SU office at the academy.

Bring a copy of your:

• Passport/ID
• Job contract
• Residence permit
• Your latest pay slip

The processing time is normally 2 months - but can be longer in certain busy times.

The Danish Agency for Higher Education and Educational Support decides whether or not to grant you SU.
