Have you been offered a study place at Business Academy Aarhus - but haven't had your first day of study yet? Here is a guide on how to access our IT systems before study start.

Before study start: Create a password and log in

During the start of your studies, you will receive a thorough introduction to the academy's IT systems for students.

You must bring your own laptop to classes.

See the general recommendations for your computers here – and also check if your programme has more specific requirements.

We recommend a laptop PC or a Mac.

Tablets and Chromebooks cannot be used as the required applications cannot be installed.

Requirements for PC:

• CPU: Intel i5, Ryzen5 or similar/better

• RAM: 8 GB or more

• OS: Windows 11

• Harddisk: 256 GB SSD

Requirements for Mac:

• CPU: min. M1, M2 or newer

• OS: Latest MAC OS

• Harddisk: 256 GB SSD

As a student at Business Academy Aarhus, you will get free access to the Microsoft Office package for your computer. Get guidance here

As a student, you have access to our wireless network throughout the Academy.

Select the EDU wireless network and follow the instructions.

You will need your username and password to access the wireless network.

You will receive an email address when you start at Business Academy Aarhus. You will only receive mails from us during your studies via this address.

You check your student email via outlook.office.com, via Outlook (if you have installed Microsoft Office programmes) or follow the guide: How to get your student email on your phone (pdf)

You must check your student email every day to avoid missing important information.

All emails from you and to the academy must also be sent via your student email.

All daily information about your teaching and campus activities can be found in Canvas.

You must log in with your username and password.

All students have 2 rooms in Canvas with important info:

• One room with info for all students
• One room with information for your particular year and programme from the programme administration

It is your responsibility to check information in both rooms every day.

In addition, you have different rooms in Canvas for your teaching.

​As a student at Business Academy Aarhus you have free access to all programmes in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Teams.

Log in with your student mail as username and your personal password.

You can print, copy and scan at the Academy.

You can print or copy a maximum of 100 pages per year while you are a student. If you want to print/copy more, it will cost DKK 0.50 per page.

It is free to scan. The scanned document is automatically OCR-processed and sent to your Academy email.

We use Skyprint. This means that you do not print from any specific printer; instead, you upload your document to the “cloud” and can print it from any of our printers. At the printer, you activate your order with your student card or a PIN code. The document is deleted from the “cloud” if it is not printed within 4 hours.

You can print by logging in to print.eaaa.dk. Here you can upload your document to the cloud, create/change your PIN code and install the printer directly onto your computer.

Giving a presentation in class you need to use a wireless connection to the projector. Depending on the building and room, you can Airtame or Clevershare.

Easily find a space for reading, preparation or group work at the academy with the app 'Spacewell Workplace'.

Here you get an overview of where there are available workplaces.

You can connect to the academy's network and programs from home via remote desktop. Here you can, for example, access the Office package, your email and your network drives.

You use one password for all IT systems at Business Academy Aarhus.

Your password is valid for 365 days.

When your password is about to expire - or it has already expired and you are therefore locked out of your account - you can change it at mobil.eaaa.dk
