Support for dyslexia
Apply for SU
You can apply for SU from 10 August 2026.
If you apply earlier, your application will be delayed due to technical reasons.
You must apply for SU on su.dk
The processing time is normally 2 months - but can be longer in certain busy times.
You must state the start date for the education as 0926.
In the field 'Vælg uddannelsessted' you must select 'Erhvervsakademi Århus'.
All deadlines here also apply if you want to apply for a discount on transportation e.g. ‘Ungdomskort’.
For students admitted to the top-up degree programme in Digital Concept Development
You should not extend your study period, but apply for SU again for the programme you are starting now.
If you have completed your AP degree in June 2026, you can receive SU in July and August. The earliest you can apply is 13 July and the latest by 31 July – otherwise your SU in July/August will either be delayed or lost. You must put the start date of your programme to 0726.
If you have had a break between your two programmes, you can apply for SU from 10 August 2026. If you apply earlier, your SU will be delayed for technical reasons. You must put the start date of the program by 0926.

You will be affected by new rules for SU for higher education. The new rules will affect your SU from January 2027 onwards. You can read more about all the new SU rules at su.dk
Apply for SPS
Do you have a functional impairment – e.g. dyslexia, ADHD, anxiety, brain injury, visual impairment, etc.? Then you can apply for SPS (special paedological support).
You must have documentation of your physical or mental functional impairment (e.g. a dyslexia test) to apply for SPS.

You must apply as soon as possible – and well in advance of your study start – as there may be a long processing time.

You must either apply online or contact our student counsellors - depending on your situation. Online means you apply via SDBF, where you must log in with mitID. You can change the language of the form once you are logged in.
Dyslexia
Number blindness (dyscalculia)
Visual impairments
Hearing difficulties
Physical disability (chronic or long-term)
Neurological disorder, e.g. concussion or migraine
Complex problems, e.g. both mental functional impairment and reading or writing difficulties
Psychological disorder e.g. bipolar disorder, borderline, schizophrenia, anxiety, depression, OCD (support hours) | contact a student counsellor
Neurological impairment e.g. autism, ADHD/ADD (support hours) | contact a student counsellor
Support for dyslexia
As a dyslexic, you can get aids and assistance and support - e.g. Nota, Intowords, support hours or special examination conditions.

You must apply online - whether you want a dyslexia test or you want to order aids and assistance. You apply via our SDBF system, where you must log-in via MitID. The forms will open in Danish, but you can change the language at the top of the page.
