Special exam conditions
If you have a documented physical or mental disability (e.g. dyslexia, ADHD, etc.), you can apply for special exam conditions.
For example, you can apply for extra time for an exam or permission to use special aids and assistance.
The purpose of special exam conditions is to ensure that you are on an equal footing with other students in the examination situation. To be granted special exam conditions, you must be able to document your needs. The special exam conditions you can get also depend on your degree programme and the exams in that programme.
You can apply for special exam conditions for a single exam, for a shorter period (e.g. a semester) or for your entire period of study. This will depend on the duration of the challenge, which may affect your exam performance.
Contact the student counsellors if you have any doubts or want guidance on whether or how you can apply for special exam conditions.
