I can’t log into my internship agreement, what should I do?

The reason why you can't log into your internship agreement is usually either:

due to a technical issue. You can get help from Tine - se contact information below.
because you've missed the link to your agreement which was sent to your student e-mail. You can check this by logging into your webmail

If neither of the above solves your problem, you must ask your internship supervisor for help. In some cases, you might not have been registered in the internship agreement system. Your supervisor can check that.

Who is responsible for insurance during your internship?

If you are doing your internship in Denmark, the company is ALWAYS responsible for insuring you during your internship period.

Please note that different rules apply once the 'formal internship period' is completed. For example, if you and your company agree that you will work together to complete your final exam project/Bachelor project.

With an internship abroad, it is your responsibility to examine and assess whether you are covered by the company's insurance.

Can I get transportation covered during my internship?

If you attend a higher education programme which is approved for SU, you can get an 'Ungdomskort' for your daily transportation to and from the educational institution.

If your internship company wants to refund your expenses for using your own car between home and your internship company, this is possible according to the state's travel rules.

According to the state's travel rules, students can get 1.98 DKK per kilometre, regardless of whether the internship company is public or private.

Is the company covered by confidentiality during your internship?

As mentioned in your internship agreement, you are obliged to maintain complete confidentiality regarding all the company's activities, products, employees, competitors etc. that you come across in connection with your internship and your internship report. This also applies after your internship period is completed.

If your written internship report is confidential, you must clearly indicate this. This must be done by clearly writing 'Confidential' on the report's cover page. Make sure that this is also done in accordance with your exam guidelines.

Staff and co-examiners are covered by the Public Administration Act's non-disclosure agreement.

Can I do an internship in my own company?

How do I get office space in GROW if I do an internship in my own company?

If you are doing an internship in your own company, you can apply for office space in GROW, the Student Incubator at Business Academy Aarhus.

At first you have to clearify with your internship supervisor that your programme allows "internship in your own company". If your internship supervisor approves the internship, you can subsequently apply for office space in GROW at grow.baaa.dk
